It’s 12:30 am. You’re exhausted. You just want to rest but your baby’s body burns with heat and neither of you can rest. So what’s a mom to do? Well, I’ll tell you what I’ve done for years with my children that works beautifully. I roll a few drops of peppermint oil on the bottom of my child’s feet, layer it with lavender, then slip on a pair of socks to keep the child from moving the oils from the feet to the face.
After the oils are rolled on my child, we rock and rest until the morning.

*note: If your child does touch his/her feet and moves the oils to his/her face, then dilute with coconut oil NOT with water. The coconut oil will turn the heat down immediately.
